So this month’s challenge is NaNoWriMo (aka “National Novel Writing Month”). For those not in the writing know, NaNoWriMo’s rules are very simple: write 50,000 new words from November 1 to 30th.
Which is a pretty daunting task.
Unless you have the wonderful luxury to lock yourself away for the entire month. Then, heck, 50,000 words can be done in two weeks!
With the holiday season coming up, and retail getting busier, it’s been challenging. But I’ve set myself my own goal: writing 10,000 – 20,000 new words in The Moonlit Path by November 30th. Which is kind of not following the rules… but… hey. I need to finish it. And the goal’s not completely horrible. Currently, I’m at 5,000 words. Which isn’t bad AT ALL.
But I also hope to edit my book by then.
And be sending it to that agent that is still interested in it.
But I can do it! It’s possible!
